I am sorry it has been so long since I updated this page. I got busy with life and haven't been on here much. I have been doing a bit of riding lately and will post a video or two as I get them edited. Until then... Ride safe!

In August of 2012, I bought a used 2008 Yamaha FZ6 motorcycle. I had previously owned a 2005 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Custom. The FZ6 is a really nice bike and rides really well. This will be a blog of a few of my rides, and hopefully of some of the more epic rides I plan on taking soon.

One of the first longer rides I did was a ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I did this last fall and had a really nice ride. I actually missed the parkway as I did not understand you had to make a turn onto a ramp to get onto the parkway. (I know...lol) I'll blame that error on fatigue...

 

I had a guy take a picture and he completely cut off my bike and the picture is horrible, but none the less...

 Since that ride I have pretty much kept to riding short rides around town. From Salisbury to Concord and down to Charlotte... And so on. I made a youtube video of a ride to Charlotte that I thought came out pretty well, I'll try and link it here: A Night Ride To Charlotte (Video)



Well, I made several trips to Myrtle Beach, SC, but both were in my car. I was scared I was going to get rained on. As it turned out it didn't rain the first trip coming or going. The second trip would have been a soaker. So, not that I know the way so well, I will be doing the trip via motorcycle soon.
